Setting up Springmail on devices and apps

When setting up a new mail account on an app you may* need the following settings.

*Some devices will automatically configure the hostnames and other settings.  If not, then you will need to manually type them in.

 

Incoming (IMAP)
Hostname:  mail.b.hostedemail.com
SSL/TLS: ON
Port #:  993
Username: (your full email address including the @domain name)
Password: (your password)
Authentication: Password  (you may not need this setting)
SPA off

Outgoing (SMTP)
Hostname: mail.b.hostedemail.com
SSL/TLS: ON
Port #: 465
Username: (full email address)
Password: (your password)  (even if your device says “optional”, it is not. It is required)
Authentication: Password or Required (you may not need this setting)
SPA off

 

Alternative to IMAP:

Incoming (POP3)
Hostname: mail.b.hostedemail.com
SSL/TLS: ON
Port #: 995
Username: (full email address)
Password: (your password)
Authentication: Password or Required (you may not need this setting)
SPA off

 

Webmail access

If you want to access your email without setting up a device or app, you can always use webmail:

https://mail.b.hostedemail.com
