Migration to SpringMail – Download Contacts from RackMail

If you are a webmail user, migrating from RackMail to SpringMail, we recommend you download your contacts from RackMail.

If you are not a webmail user, and use an app like Outlook to manage your mail, your contacts are likely stored in Outlook, and not in webmail.  You will likely not have any contacts in webmail, but it is ok to check, and download them if you want.

  1. Login to your RackMail account: https://www.myrackmail.com
  2. In the blue header, top left, click Contacts.
  3. Next, click “Import / Export Contacts”
  4. Under Export Contacts, click the Export button.
  5. Your browser should download a file: “webmail-addressbook-export.csv”  (save it if prompted)

Use this file after you have been migrated to import your contacts into SpringMail

  1. Login to your SpringMail account at https://mail.b.hostedemail.com
  2. In the black menu on the left side, click Contacts.
  3. Next, in the top menu, right side, click Import
  4. Browse to the .csv file you saved previously, click Import.
  5. Confirm that your contacts have been properly imported before deleting your .csv file.

At this point you are fully migrated to SpringMail.
